Breaking down thought patterns, contributing ideas: The district is involved in the Hessian Integration Conference during this legislative period. The integration officer for the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg, Latif Hamamiyeh Al-Homssi, was appointed to the committee by the Hessian Minister for Social Affairs and Integration, Heike Hofmann. This committee works in various working groups on topics such as racism, the labour market, religion and discrimination - the results are incorporated into the Hessian Integration Plan.
The aim here is to keep breaking new ground, rethinking and keeping an eye open for opportunities and possibilities. It is also about strengthening an open and diverse society that is free from discrimination, racism and marginalisation.
