Within the framework of climate protection management, the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg deals with sustainable and climate-relevant issues - and works closely with the municipalities belonging to the area, as well as all relevant actors from the private sector. An essential part of the work is to develop an integrated climate protection concept, on the basis of which further climate protection measures are to be initiated, controlled and consolidated.
