Construction of sports and leisure facilities

The aim of the district is to promote the sporting activities of the district population, the sports clubs and sports associations as well as the schools by providing sports facilities and financial contributions, also in the field of popular and recreational sports.

The district provides funds for this purpose, which are determined in the budget. The allowances are granted within the framework of these monetary funds.

To be eligible for funding, certain requirements must be met.
For example, for associations:

• Non-profit status
• Member (min. 3 years) of the Landessportbund Hessen (LSBH)
• County seat
• Doing youth work (at least 8 youth members)
• min. 30 members
