Green Trails
In order to provide cycling fans and nature lovers with a great sport and nature experience, the district is planning a mountain bike project that is unique in Europe together with numerous towns and municipalities: the Green Trails. When they are completed, they will consist of around 200 kilometres of trails and 200 kilometres of connecting paths. The aim is to ensure that the trails can not only be ridden by cycling fans of all ages, but that all interest groups are involved in the project planning.
Green Trails
The Green Trails in Waldeck-Frankenberg are Europe's largest mountain bike trail project: 200 kilometres of developed trails and connecting paths (until 2028) in the beautiful nature of northern Hesse.
Organisation
A special-purpose association ensures the best possible planning and realisation for the Green Trails.
