Separation, divorce, custody: events for women
The Specialist Service for Women and Equal Opportunities invites you to two free information events at the end of March 2025. The speaker will be lawyer Jutta Schwarze from Bad Arolsen. Registration is required and can be made by email, by phone on 05631 954-1318 or online.
The first event on 20 March from 19:30 at Punkt e. V., Große Allee 16 in Bad Arolsen, registration by 14 March, will focus on the topic of separation/divorce. The lecture is intended to provide a general overview of the legal problems to be expected in the event of separation or divorce. The focus will be on the divorce proceedings including pension equalisation, the subsequent divorce matters of equalisation of gains and assets as well as the settlement of property and debts, securing documents, clarifying claims, rights and obligations.
The second event on 27 March from 7.30 pm, also at Punkt e. V., Große Allee 16 in Bad Arolsen, registration by 21 March, is entitled "Parent-child relationship - rights/duties, maintenance claims". The aim of the lecture is to discuss all problems in connection with family ties. Custody rights, rights of access, the affiliation of children, maintenance claims between parents and children play a role here, as well as changes to the law and a brief insight into the issue of parental maintenance.
