Reading competition: Ole Benjamin Bremmer wins district decision South

Eight young readers who won the Waldeck-Frankenberg South district reading competition for 6th grade students gathered in the hall of the historic ten-towered town hall in Frankenberg (Eder).

In front of a jury of six, they "selected" a winner among themselves who will represent the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg in the district competition in Kassel: Ole Benjamin Bremmer from Gustav-Stresemann-Gymnasium Bad Wildungen. He recited the passage from his self-chosen book "Die Gangsta-Oma" by David Williams a little bit better than the other school winners did with their favourite book texts. Ole was also able to convince the jury the most with the unknown text from the book "Motte und die Metallfischer" by Sanne Rooseboom. The district final in Kassel will take place on 22 April in the Johannes community centre in Korbach with the North Hessian district winners from Kassel to Fulda.
