Online event on the topic of "Green investment" on 20 March

The Women and Equal Opportunities Department of the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg, in cooperation with the Office for Civic Women's Work e.V., invites you to an online event on Thursday, 20 March 2025. From 6 - 7.30 pm, the topic will be "Green investment: marketing strategy or real contribution to environmental protection?". The speaker will be financial mentor Carmen Stephan, Frankfurt am Main. The lecture is aimed at women who want to know how they can invest their money responsibly and in a future-orientated way.

Green and sustainable investments are in demand like never before. In view of climate change and environmental pollution, it is becoming increasingly important to invest responsibly for the future. But which investments are really "green", which funds deserve to be labelled "sustainable", which help to protect the planet and which are nothing more than "greenwashing"? Participants in the presentation will learn what types of green investments there are, how sustainability is defined in the financial sector and what strategies are available to successfully create wealth with sustainable investments. They will also learn how sustainability labels can help them decide in favour of or against an investment.

The participation fee for the online lecture on 20 March 2025 is 10 euros. Registration is required and can be made by 11 March 2025 by email, at Tel. 05631 954-1318 or online.
