Walking tour of the self-help contact point on 9 May
The walking tour organised by the Waldeck-Frankenberg self-help contact point has become so popular that it will of course be offered again this year. On 9 May from 3 p.m. to around 6 p.m., a circular route in Ober-Werbe invites you to explore. All self-help activists or those interested in self-help are cordially invited to take part.
The meeting point for the walk on 9 May is the Ober-Werber village community centre in the street "Kampmühle"; there are plenty of parking spaces available. Participants will walk along the monastery path to the monastery ruins, which tower high above the village. There, they will learn all kinds of interesting facts about monasteries from the Ober-Werber illustrative example by monastery guide Werner Eschler. The two-kilometre route involves a slight incline of 46 metres and is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchairs. Sturdy shoes and weatherproof clothing are recommended, and walkers are responsible for their own refreshments.
To make it easier to plan the offer, interested parties are asked to register by 6 May by e-mail or by calling 05631 954-1888. The Waldeck-Frankenberg self-help contact centre is also available to answer any questions using the same contact details.
