Administrative offices with limited availability on 5 December

The Waldeck-Frankenberg district will be holding its annual staff meeting on 5 December. The administrative offices will therefore only be available to a limited extent from 12 noon on this day.

Numerous employees will come together for the meeting in Korbach to find out about new developments, discuss current topics and exchange ideas. "Staff meetings are important for engaging in dialogue with all employees, intensifying communication and strengthening the sense of unity," says District Administrator Jürgen van der Horst. "With more than 1,000 employees, face-to-face dialogue is particularly important in addition to our digital communication."

This is also the view of the district's staff council, which invited people to the meeting: "It is not only our legal obligation to report to our colleagues annually on our activities, but it is also the direct exchange and information that take centre stage," says the staff council. Direct dialogue with each other, but also with the management, is at the forefront. "The meetings also contribute to greater transparency and therefore to a positive working atmosphere and a good working environment in the district administration.

For citizens, the staff meeting means that the administrative offices of the district can only be reached to a limited extent from 12 noon. They are therefore asked to deal with their concerns on other days or digitally if possible. This is because many services can already be applied for online from the district.
