GeoPark GrenzWelten presents itself at the Hessentag

The GrenzWelten Geopark will once again have its own presentation area at this year's Hessentag. It is located in the Fritzlar Ederaue at the special show "On the trail of nature" in the large diorama tent.

At the GrenzWelten stand, there will be lots of interesting facts to discover about the Geopark. In addition to plenty of information material, children can learn about different rocks and fossils through play. There is also a "children's adventure tunnel" where the little ones can go on a treasure hunt like the miners used to. There are daily hands-on activities, such as the detective game "Find Mr Stone" or an experiment on rock formation. There are also small rewards for taking part in the activities.

The Korbach prehistoric dachshund Procynosuchus will of course also be a guest in Fritzlar and will introduce himself to visitors under his pet name Procy. He and his human companions from the Geopark would be delighted to meet many interested visitors. Further information on the Hessentag stand or on GrenzWelten in general can be obtained from the Geopark contact details.
