Welcome meeting for parents: Drop In(klusive) offer in Korbach

Drop In(klusive) are open welcome and meeting places for parents with babies and toddlers. On 20 June 2024, the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg will be launching a Drop-In(klusive) parent-child meeting place in Korbach. Mums and dads of children up to the age of three who would like to socialise with other parents and children are invited.

Relaxed dialogue on everyday topics
Visitors can enjoy breakfast together or an afternoon snack with a relaxed chat about everyday topics for and with children as well as suggestions for children's play. Exercise and everyday language development as well as support and mediation for special family, health or educational concerns are also part of the programme. A parent counsellor, who is part of the early help network, is available as a contact person during the meetings.

Exchange and networking
The meetings are free of charge and take place on Thursdays from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Kreisel Family Centre (Am Mühlwege 6a, 34497 Korbach). Drop In(klusive) was developed as an open programme for parents with small children by the Karl Kübel Foundation for Child and Family. They are subsidised by the foundation and the Hessian Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Sport, Health and Care throughout the state. The programme enables families to exchange ideas and network with others and at the same time access information from the Early Help network on preventative development and health promotion services. Further information is also available from the Early Help Coordinator for the district of Bettina Götz on 05631 954-1642 or by email at bettina.goetz@lkwafkb.de.
