District leisure programme: registration starts on 16 January
Whether mountains or sea, day trips or camps: Next year, the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg will once again be offering an attractive leisure programme with many highlights for children, young people and families. Registrations will be accepted online from 16 January 2025.
Leisure activities for all
This year, there will once again be a mini holiday with fun and games at the Hardehausen youth centre, holiday trips to the North Sea and Baltic Sea, to Zell am See or skiing in Saalbach-Hinterglemm. Whether for children or teenagers or for the whole family: there are suitable offers for every age group - for example, a short adventure holiday at the Harbshausen sports camp for boys or a multi-day holiday under the motto "Magic in Blacklight" in Hardehausen for girls. The educational project "Children do circus" in Frankenberg-Schreufa in the summer, a family day trip to Sababurg Zoo or a family holiday in Gadow, Brandenburg, are further highlights
"Socialising, developing a sense of community, making new friends, combined with physical activity: a varied leisure activity is particularly important for children and young people," says District Administrator Jürgen van der Horst. In 2025, there will once again be a great programme for all target groups with space for relaxation and fun, also as a welcome break from everyday stress.
Register online
From 16 January 2025 at 8 a.m., you can register online for the various events. The relevant event can be selected there and you can register for it directly. "This makes it easier for us to organise registrations, reduces paperwork and is much simpler and more convenient for families," agree specialist service provider Matthias Schäfer and his deputy Ines Normann. "We are expecting a good response again for 2025. If you register quickly, you can secure one of the coveted places."
Further information on the annual programme and the individual events is also available online or from the district's specialist sports and youth work service on 05631 954-1458 or by email at jugendarbeit@lkwafkb.de.
