District honours 25 successful graduates

Administration, IT, food and hygiene control or animal welfare: 25 employees have successfully completed their training or further training in the district administration this year. The district recently honoured all graduates at a small ceremony.

Wide range of training and further education opportunities
Four administrative assistants, two IT specialists and two hygiene inspectors have successfully completed their training programmes. A food inspector, an animal health inspector and a specialist psychological counsellor have completed their further training. In addition, five candidates completed their studies and were subsequently appointed as probationary civil servants. For the first time, there was also a graduate from the "Digital Administration" degree programme. In addition, four employees attended the basic administration course on a part-time basis, two others completed further training to become administrative specialists and three more people were appointed as trainers for the district following their successful examination.

"Promoting potential, offering qualifications"
"We are proud that so many of our employees are facing up to the challenges of advancing digitalisation and continuous professional development," emphasises District Administrator Jürgen van der Horst. "It is the district's responsibility to promote this potential, provide qualification programmes and develop strategies for the future," adds Karl-Friedrich Frese, First District Councillor. The continuous further training of employees is a decisive success factor for the district. "Many thanks to all those who have accepted this professional challenge and all the best for their future careers." All graduates received a shopping voucher and a small gift as a small token of appreciation.
