Next district council meeting in Korbach on 6 November

The next meeting of the Waldeck-Frankenberg District Council will take place on 6 November at 2 p.m. - and like the two previous meetings, it will be held in the meeting room of the District Hall in Korbach. All interested parties are cordially invited to attend the public meeting, says Rainer Hesse, chairman of the district council.

There are 12 items on the agenda, such as the introduction and commitment of an honorary county councillor. A motion by the FDP parliamentary group is about measuring mobile phone coverage in the district with the aim of improving the network. Specialist counselling for queer people is the subject of a joint motion by the Bündnis 90/DIE GRÜNEN and FDP parliamentary groups. Another item on the agenda provides information on the status of the "Action Programme Municipality - Women in Politics".

A contract is to be concluded between the district and the city of Lichtenfels for the intended new construction of a primary school Goddelsheim at the MPS Goddelsheim for the previous primary school locations Goddelsheim with a composite location Korbach-Eppe. The 2022 annual financial statements and the 2024 business plan of the Waldeckische Domanialverwaltung will be submitted to the district council for resolution. Finally, the approval of an unbudgeted expenditure at Kreiskrankenhaus Frankenberg gGmbH and the information on the approval of an unbudgeted expenditure in the area of social security (basic services, basic benefits for job-seekers) are on the agenda for 6 November.
