Geismar waste transfer station closed on 1 June

The waste transfer station in Geismar must remain closed on Wednesday, 1 June for maintenance work for private deliveries of residual waste as well as bulky waste deliveries. The facility is expected to be able to reopen from 2 June.

Customers are requested to postpone planned deliveries of residual waste and bulky waste. In urgent cases, deliveries can also be made directly to the disposal facility in Flechtdorf. However, only residual and bulky waste is affected by the closure. Green waste, tree and branch cuttings, electrical waste, paper, metals, small amounts of construction waste as well as asbestos and mineral wool will be accepted as usual on this day from 8 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 1.30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
