New dates for the county's mini-vaccination centres in May
You can continue to get vaccinated against the coronavirus in the mini vaccination centres of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district in the coming weeks. However, appointments will no longer be offered weekly, but every fortnight. It is not necessary to make an appointment in advance; people who want to be vaccinated can simply drop by. The vaccines of the companies BionTech & Pfizer and Novavax as well as Moderna are offered by appointment.
The mini-vaccination centres in the small Hauerhalle in Korbach and in the lower building of the district hospital in Frankenberg will therefore be open in May on 7 and 21 May. Vaccinations for immunisation against the virus are possible on these days from 10 am to 1 pm. Vaccinations are also held at the train station in Bad Wildungen every fortnight on Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm.
The district of Waldeck-Frankenberg continues to call on people to take advantage of the public vaccination offers in order to protect themselves and others against the coronavirus in the best possible way. In this context, attention is also drawn once again to the institution-related vaccination obligation, which has been in force for certain institutions since mid-March this year - and which makes vaccination obligatory for certain occupational groups.
Child vaccinations in Korbach and Bad Wildungen
Child vaccinations will again take place on 7 May and 4 June from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Korbach vaccination centre in the small Hauerhalle. Paediatricians will be on hand to advise children, adolescents and parents accordingly. It is sufficient if one parent accompanies the child to the vaccination. With the signature of one parent in the consent for vaccination, the consent of the other parent is automatically assumed and given. Child vaccinations are also still possible in Bad Wildungen during open Saturdays.
Have documents ready
The following should be brought to the vaccination: The child's health insurance card and vaccination certificate, the identity card of the legal guardian and, if possible, the completed information sheets and medical history and information sheets for the respective vaccines. The documents can be downloaded here.
