From 2 to 14 August: Centre in Korbach vaccinates without appointment
In the first half of August, the vaccination centre of the district in Korbach opens its doors for vaccinations without prior appointment. People aged 16 and over who want to be vaccinated can come to the centre from 2 to 14 August between 8.30 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays without an appointment and get vaccinated against the coronavirus. However, the offer is only valid for first-time vaccinations.
This is because people who have already been vaccinated once are usually scheduled for the second vaccination at the same place where they received the first. For example, having the first dose administered at the family doctor's and the second at the vaccination centre is unfortunately not possible for logistical and organisational reasons.
Since the vaccination centre of the district is expected to close at the end of September according to the announcement of the state of Hesse and according to current recommendations there should be a period of six weeks between the two vaccinations, 14 August is the last possible date for the start of the vaccination series. After that, no more first vaccinations will be possible in the vaccination centre of the district, but only the corresponding second vaccinations to complete the vaccination protection.
"We cordially invite all those who wish to be vaccinated to take advantage of this offer and come to the vaccination centre in Korbach in the first half of August, even without an appointment," said District Administrator Dr Reinhard Kubat and First District Councillor and Head of Health Karl-Friedrich Frese. In any case, you should bring your health insurance card and, if possible, your yellow vaccination card so that the vaccination can be entered there.
