Hygiene instruction in accordance with the Infection Protection Act
Whether in the area of food preparation, food sales or catering, anyone wishing to work in these areas requires a certificate of attendance at a hygiene training course that is no more than 3 months old. This instruction can either be taken at the specialist health service in Korbach or Frankenberg on fixed dates, or online from home.
Online hygiene instruction
To take the hygiene instruction online, an appointment must be booked in the following periods:
Monday to Friday 8:00 - 20:30
Saturday 9:00 - 15:30

Appointment booking process
- Confirm "Privacy policy" and "General information" and click on "Next" to select an appointment.
- Select an instruction date from the available days and times and click on "Next"
- Enter your e-mail address and click on "Continue"
- Search for the booking with confirmation code (only valid for 15 minutes) in your e-mail inbox and confirm (if necessary also in the spam folder) and click on "Continue".
- Check data, select payment method (PayPal or credit card) and instruction costs of 29.00 euros and click on "Continue"
After payment, an e-mail will be sent to the registered e-mail address with a confirmation of registration and receipt for submission to the employer.

Procedure for online instruction
Legitimisation or authentication process
In a time window of 15 minutes before or after the appointment, an employee of the Glehn Technology Centre will make a call for authentication via WhatsApp, Facetime, Signal or ginlo video call. The device with which the instruction is to be completed must therefore be switched on 15 minutes before the instruction appointment and have a stable internet connection. In addition, a legitimisation document (ID card) must be kept ready. After the legitimisation check, the personal seminar code will be issued. This code is required to activate the application in the instruction portal(www.gotzg.de).
Start of hygiene instruction
The seminar code must be entered on the website www.gotzg.de to start the hygiene instruction. Various languages are then available for selection. The instruction lasts approx. 30 to 40 minutes.
Film and knowledge test
At the beginning, an approximately 20-minute film is shown in German (foreign languages are shown as subtitles) and an information sheet (available in various languages) must be read. Finally, a multiple choice test is taken to prove learning success. If necessary, the test can also be repeated.
The certificate of successful completion of the test can be downloaded directly afterwards.
