In order to control the energy consumption of the 77 properties owned by the district, the district has an energy management system in the building management department. Regular monitoring in the form of an energy balance sheet is submitted annually, and sustainable energy management is thus constantly developed. The goal is to save heat and electricity - and to sustainably reduce CO2 emissions. This is to be achieved primarily through energy-efficient building renovations, increasing the efficiency of the existing technical systems and through demand-oriented control on site.
Energy balance 2022
The district wants to supply its buildings with energy from renewable sources by 2035 and save as much energy as possible. The balance sheet for 2022 shows that it is on the right track.
