Around one in four women in Germany experience physical and/or sexualised violence at least once in their lives. Help is available here.
No Compliments" Campaign against Catcalling
The district participates in the campaign "No Compliments". The aim is to make catcalling, i.e. verbal sexual harassment, visible.
Round table against domestic violence
Together with the district, many institutions have joined forces to provide support for victims of violence.
Immediate help in case of rape
In Waldeck-Frankenberg, victims can receive medical care after a rape without reporting it to the police.
Dare, don't hit!
Together with the Round Table, the Women's Office has developed an intervention model that offers fast and unbureaucratic help to those affected.

By asking "Is Luisa here?" women in the party scene can turn to the staff and get immediate and discreet help.
