Coming Out Days

Coming Out Days: celebrating diversity, promoting acceptance: International Coming Out Day stands for courage and solidarity. Courage for those who come out as lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, inter* or queer, and solidarity from society as a whole. During the campaign week from 7-13 October, the district will be sending out a strong signal for acceptance and equality together with many partners. In Waldeck-Frankenberg, all people should be able to live their sexual orientation and gender identity openly and without fear of discrimination. Visibility is crucial to breaking down prejudices and creating a deeper understanding of the diverse realities of life for LGBTIQ* people. With inspiring events and exciting workshops, the aim is to provide information, raise awareness and celebrate diversity!
