CITY CYCLING 2024

From 8 to 28 June 2024, the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg, together with 20 towns and municipalities, took part in the Climate Alliance's international CITY CYCLING campaign for the third time. On 8 June, an anniversary cycle tour "Lion meets star" to the boundary stone museum in Herzhausen took place to mark the "50 years of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district" anniversary. We would like to thank all cyclists for taking part in the city cycling event.

In Waldeck-Frankenberg, the result has been determined:

  • 2,487 cyclists
  • 110/631 Parliamentarians
  • 211 teams
  • 548,828 kilometres
  • 91 tonnes of CO2 avoidance
