The district plays a coordinating role in the development of cycling, promotes selected projects and plans and ensures that the players are networked.
Financial support for cycling in the district
The district of Waldeck-Frankenberg supports the towns and municipalities in the development of cycling infrastructure. Investment measures, quality measures and public relations work can be financially supported.
Bike+Ride campaign of the North Hessian Transport Association
The NVV supports local authorities in the construction of safe and attractive bicycle parking facilities at railway stations and bus stops - with at least 70 per cent. The NVV provides a free marketing platform.
